Anger… anxiety… grief and sadness… so many feelings get stirred up by the troubles in the world today.
It’s hard to remain calm in the face of uncertainty and loss.

And many of us also carry feelings from hard times in the past that can be triggered by current events.

Yes– it is possible for these strong feelings to change, to shift, to become lighter. It is possible to feel strong, calm, and fundamentally all right even when difficult things are happening around us.

You can create an inner environment of acceptance through being compassionate and gentle to your own feelings.
Your feelings can and will change… but not because you are trying to change them.

Feelings change because it is in their nature to change when they are fully heard.

What a relief it is to know there isn’t anything inside you that can overwhelm you, that you can be present with compassion to even your most challenging feelings!
