In Pakistan, young children are forced into dangerous and toxic labor situations after their parents lost their livelihoods due to COVID-19, and could no longer afford school fees. They have no time to play or for the usual childhood explorations. In a newly-launched program, Focusing Initiatives International provide them with a chance to learn to read and write, a hot meal, tools to thrive emotionally, psychosocial support and appropriate recreational activities.
