Many of us are feeling the heaviness and isolation of Covid-challenged holidays this year. Perhaps we need a big international focusing party to lift our spirits. Gene’s birthday is on Christmas Day. Let’s celebrate it the day after on Dec 26th. This is a good time to gather in community and reflect on the treasures that his life has given us.
We want to honor Gene; not only the visionary philosopher, the empowering teacher and therapist, the innovative humanitarian model builder, but also the extraordinary, quirky, ingenious, passion filled man. Although he died in 2017, Gene’s “living” is fuller and richer than ever. We are his legacy, furthering the journey. We would like those who knew Gene to tell their stories and introduce him to those who know his work but not his embodied presence.
