Connecting with our Body through Movement and Touch
November 10, 2020 8:00 pmAvailable
What do we need to be sound of body and mind this winter? This course invites us to be present with our experience and to expand, stretch, and nurture ourselves with a nice hug that says “good person.” Each class will cultivate our body’s natural proclivity to well-being. As we attune to the seasonal changes, we will draw on the lightness and grounding of Qi Gong, the Chinese approach to balance and energy movement. We will practice healing touch through tapping and self-massage, foster our authentic response to stress through intuitive movement and sound healing, and nurture creativity through guided imagery drawn from nature.
There will be 45 minutes of movement, and an additional 10 to 15 minutes allowing for further exploration, questions and discussion.
NOTE: This class is a free introduction to a six-session series, running on Tuesdays from November 24 through December 29, (also at 12pm PT (3pm ET).
You can attend any 4 of the 6 classes in the series for $40, or all 6 classes for $55. You can also “drop in” for any class(es) for $12 per class.
Registration information will be posted here soon, and will also be emailed to anyone that signs up for this free introductory session.
