Weather and Refuge

I sense myself looking ahead to this second Saturday in November with pleasant anticipation.  I notice my gratitude for the chance to sit with you, with We who will gather.

It comes to me that in this November time of the American Election, these Choices, this much Uncertainty, the Winter’s Coming On, and growing fears of conflict and illness arising are all there for us. And song lyrics come to mind, David Crosby writes, “There are thoughts enough to blow men’s minds; And tear great worlds apart.”

And yet, this Being Together in this Way of Recognition of the Connection, we pause and just allow our bodies to find the linkages, the way of experiencing the whole field. Perhaps we find the home in which Not Knowing opens the the door to More.
