Soul Force Education

We are in the midst of not only an economic, political and medical crisis, but the pandemic has accentuated and revealed a spiritual crisis, as well. There is tremendous suffering across the world. And if ever there was a time for a spiritual reawakening, that time is now.The Soul Force Educational philosophy is rooted in a commitment to Community, Activism, Spirituality and Healing (CASH) and grounded by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s words: “We shall match your capacity to inflict suffering by our capacity to endure suffering. We shall meet your physical force with soul force.” This itself was an adoption of Gandhi’s spiritual philosophy of Satyagraha, the force and pursuit for truth.
We will explore the connections between CASH, Soul Force, and waking up to meeting the conditions of our material world and our internal selves.
Soul Force involves an active resistance of inequity that changes the status quo in search of equity, justice and truth. Soul Force is a product of internal strength and the courageous practice of resiliency and love which emanates from the center of our spirit, the organizations we lead and the relationships we cultivate.
